MELISSA GARDEN: Seen from the outside this site is composed of few rocks, which are actually connected to each other by their reef. A fine example of the richness of the Raja Ampat’s bottoms with colorful soft corals, and gigantic gorgonians. Melissa Garden is an underwater paradise. It’s a must do dive site!

MY REEF: This site is one of the popular sites in the Piaynemo area. My reef is a submerged underwater pinnacle covered with soft and hard corals. The schools of fusiliers and snappers like to congregate there, and are happy to pose.

KERUO CHANNEL: Shallow dive where we will fly with the current. It is a heaven for the shallow reef, filled with thousand of corals, it’s one of the healthier reefs of Raja Ampat.

The wreck of a small transport boat from Copra (Coconut of Coco) will delight you and be the icing on the cake of the day.

Early morning sailing to Teluk Wayana.

DAY 7: Teluk Wayana
Exploration Day
3 dives
Late-afternoon sailing to the Strait of Patintie (40NM).

DAY 8: Patintie Detroit
The Patintie Strait is spectacular for scuba diving. Located between the island of Bacan and Halmahera, it is subject to strong currents that bring back to the corals all the necessary food, and also ensures a good renewal of biomass. For connoisseurs the Strait of Patintie can be considered a mini Komodo… The planning of the dives must therefore be done rigorously. The strait is composed of four main islands: Saleh Besar, Saleh Kecil, Pisang and Kusu Island. One resort has recently operated on Saleh Besar, another is expected to be completed this year and is located on the island of Kusu. The area is still unknown but will certainly become a diving mecca in Indonesia. Two beautiful days are planned.

PROCO CHANNEL: Another promising site in the area. This submerged underwater ridge lies between Nanas and Saleh Kecil. There’s a lot of people down there! The northern part of the ridge hides some kind of canyons and overhangs where schools of fish like to congregate…

SELAT KECIL: Small channel between Saleh Kecil and Saleh Besar. Beautiful coral on a slope of white sand.

TANJUNG SALEH KECIL: A perfect place for a third, more relaxing dive in search of small.

Wetting for the night in a bay of Saleh Besar. A place with untouched mangroves, perfect for birdwatching.

DAY 9: Patintie Detroit
TOBIAS POINT: A rock located north of Saleh besar. An underwater ridge stretches on its east side and offers us a very rich marine life. As with every dive in the area, black-tipped sharks are everywhere and the reef is intact. The Anthias swarm in the thousands and create a real cloud in the shallow part. A treat…

THE TOWER: Point facing Saleh Besar, but on the coast of Halmahera. A gentle slope embellished by large potatoes. It ends with a particularly fishy tip. In shallow, and with the beautiful midday light, its coral garden and its many potatoes colonized by colorful alcyonaries are beautiful.

BATU JABU: Another rock in the middle of the channel separating Halmahera from Saleh Besar. A veritable north/south-facing underwater ridge, we find the same spirit as Tobias point. By jumping away from the rock upstream of the current our divers will be able to enjoy the activity that reigns there!

Departure in the night for the islands of the southern goraichi archipelago.

DAY 10: Goraichi South
BATU NAGA: The “Dragon Rock” literal translation owes its name to the multiple crevices, canyons and overhangs and its topography in general. Very good site with Napoleons, Tuna dog teeth and Tasars in particular.

BATU ORANGE: Point with many sharks in deep area, and beautiful tables of Acropora in shallow.

MANTA BAY: shallow reef, cleaning station and food source for Manta rays.

Wetting for the night.

DAY 11: Goraichi South
The northern Goraichi Islands is a group of islands comprising Siko, Gafi, Laigoma and Tomakomafatu.

It is a small paradise for divers as well as for non-divers as its decorations are worthy of postcard landscapes.

SIKO ISLAND: To the west of the island of Siko, rocks are visible from the surface. Under water, an underwater ridge connects them and offers us several dive sites. Visibility is often very good. The northernmost rock of them has a vertiginous wall. A pinnacle in the middle of this ridge is suitable for wholesale passage.

The northern tip of Siko is also a site of very good quality.

Night sailing to the island of Ternate.

DAY 12: Ternate – Departure Day
Breakfast and transfer to the airport or hotel of your choice.

DAY 1: Arrival Day
Arrival at Sorong airport (early morning). Transfer to the boat and breakfast on board. Introducing the crew and general briefing on the life of the boat and the safety rules on board. Navigation (1h) to the island of MATAN for a check dive. Departure for Misool with an early morning check-in.

DAY 2: Farondi and Balbulol
3 SISTERS: Seen from the outside this site is composed of three rocks, which are actually connected to each other by their reef. A fine example of the richness of the Raja Ampat’s bottoms with colorful soft corals, and gigantic gorgonians.

FARONDI ARCHE AND GROTTE: This site is one of the popular sites in the Misool area. After an immersion in a small bowl, the different palanqués will pass under a sumptuous arch/tunnel covered with soft corals. The schools of fusiliers and snappers like to congregate there, and are happy to pose. Pushed south by the currents, the divers will then sail between vertical walls and overhangs, to complete the dive in the Farondi cave in the 5 meter zone. Easy to approach, it has a unique atmosphere. Note: the presence of many gorgonians with pygmy seahorses, and an impressive number of nudibranchs.

BALBULOL CORNER: Shallow dive into a beautiful cave. We enter via a canyon covered with soft coral. A haven for the many nudibranchs.
Walk in the beautiful lagoon of Balbulol in annex. Sugar loaves, crystal clear water and dramatic landscape. Departure in the night for the Fiabacet area.

DAY 3: Fiabacet
PURI PINNACLE: Dry consisting of 4 pinnacles. From the smallest to the largest, this submerged reef has an explosive life. A place known for its schools of hypnotic anchovies, which attract jacks, bonitos and sometimes squadrons of Mobulas.

FIABACET RIDGE: This other underwater ridge connects the two rocks of Tank Rock and Nudi Rock. Grey sharks, groupers, yellow-tailed barracudas. It dives in many ways depending on the currents. The richness of the site is such that it would take 3 or 4 dives to fully explore it.

WHALE ROCK: As at most sites in Misool, there is a wide variety of pygmy seahorses: Barbiganti and Denise in particular. The exploration of this site consists of crossing a small channel between two small islands connected by an underwater ridge and a pinnacle. Night at the anchorage of Yiliet Kecil. Home to one of the rangers in the Misool area, its pretty little white sand beach is also a nursery for baby black-tipped sharks. A short walk is planned at the end of the day.

DAY4: Boo and Magic Mountain
BOO WINDOWS: A reference. Takes its name from the tunnels that cross the rock on both sides. Grey sharks, rifles and small yellow snappers, Napoleon and pygmy seahorses populate this shimmering reef.

MAGIC MOUNTAIN: THE Misool site. To fall to the ground. This dry, with a summit 5 meters deep, sinks into the depths of Misool. A veritable cleaning station for the surrounding wildlife, Magic Mountain brings together everything you can hope to see when you come to Raja Ampat. You can find everything in an explosion of biodiversity! Bench of big-eyed jacks, but also Ignobilis or blue dots, Napoleon huge in 5 meters of water, groupers, several species of barracudas and sharks, tasars etc… The highlight of the show, the oceanic Manta rays also like to come and get the pests cleaned and fly over the reef… Dolphins and whale sharks have also been seen here…

WEDDING CAKE: Mushroom-shaped rock with multiple overhangs. Buoys are available for boats to spend the night in the area. The Wayil lagoon deserves a little annex ride at the end of the day.

DAY 5: Wayil and Pele
FOUR KINGS: Four underwater pinnacles, very fishy, with unique topography. Connected by a ridge, this site also gives us the best action scenes with the schools of small anchovies, hunted by many predators. One of Misool’s flagship sites.

KALEIDOSCOPE: Underwater ridge at the northwest tip of Pele. Black coral bushes and multicolored gorgonian fields. Fairy!

PELE’S PLAYGROUND: The westernest point of the Waaf Island Group. It often attracts schools of anchovies and their predators. Show assured.

Night sailing to the Pisang Islands.

DAY 6: Pisang Islands
GREY SURPRISE: Rock west of the Pisang Islands. A plateau to the north of this rock ends with a ridge and a pretty drop where many grey sharks can be seen, accompanied by schools of fish checkers and surgeons.

BATUANYER WALL: To the west of Pisang Island are the Batuanyer, small rocks connected by a particularly rich coral system. The wall is to the north of this system and offers us a nice dive with its rocks covered with orange Alcyonnaires below.

BATUANYER DANKAL: The part separating the two islands is a very colorful and shallow canyon. Perfect a third dive.

Night sailing to PIGARAJA Island.

DAY 7: Pigaraja
This small island close to the southern coast of Bacan Island is adjacent to the village of Pigaraja, flanked by coconut plantations. Its bottoms are very beautiful with an intact coral, a mixture of colors and Acropora in very good health. We’ll do three dives there. The wreck of a small transport boat from Copra (Coconut of Coco) will delight you and be the icing on the cake of the day.

Late-night sailing to the Strait of Patintie.

TOBIAS POINT. A rock located north of Saleh besar. An underwater ridge stretches on its east side and offers us a very rich marine life. As with every dive in the area, black-tipped sharks are everywhere and the reef is intact. The Anthias swarm in the thousands and create a real cloud in the shallow part. A treat…

THE TOWER. Point facing Saleh Besar, but on the coast of Halmahera.

BATU ORANGE: Point with many sharks in deep area, and beautiful tables of Acropora in shallow.

MANTA BAY: shallow reef, cleaning station and food source for Manta rays.

Wetting for the night.

DAY 11: Goraici North
The northern Goraichi Islands is a group of islands comprising Siko, Gafi, Laigoma and Tomakomafatu. It is a small paradise for divers as well as for non-divers as its decorations are worthy of postcard landscapes.

SIKO ISLAND: To the west of the island of Siko, rocks are visible from the surface. Under water, an underwater ridge connects them and offers us several dive sites. Visibility is often very good.
