Komodo National Park

Day 1 – Sebayur Besar – Sebayur Kecil
Welcome onboard Aliikai Voyage. We depart Labuan Bajo to Sebayur Besar and Sebayar Kecil. The remainder of the day is reserved for diving or snorkeling the sights surrounding the islands, beach time, and trekking – if the tide allows.

Return to the boat for a delicious al fresco dinner under the stars.

Day 2 – Manta Point – Karang Makassar – Padar
After breakfast on board, we head out to Manta Point and Karang Makassar. Spend the morning snorkeling or diving with the majestic Manta Rays followed by Karang Makassar, a sandbar surrounded by beautiful turquoise water.

Lunch will be served on board as we sail to Padar Island.

This afternoon we stretch our legs as we trek to the top of Padar island for a scenic view of the surrounding islands. Afterward, we will have time to snorkel or dive.

Alfresco dinner will be served on board.

Day 3 – Pink beach – Rinca – Kalong
After a relaxing breakfast on the deck, we will step ashore on Pink Beach where we will have time to enjoy relaxing beach time, kayak, SUP, snorkel, and diving.

We will return to the boat for a delicious lunch on board as we set sail to Rinca Island to view the Komodo Dragons. After a short briefing with a park ranger, we will see the dragons in their natural habitat. Afterward, we will return to the boat for dinner and sundowners near Kalong island.

Day 4 – Labuan Bajo
After breakfast onboard, the crew will transfer you tothe airport for your onward flight.

Day 3 – Gili Lawa Darat – Gili Lawa Laut

We will explore the island where we will view local shipwrights’ handcraft traditional boats with simple tools and traditional techniques passed down through generations. This afternoon you have the choice of hiking a rugged volcano or exploring one of the nearby reefs. Hot Rock Reef, suitable for both snorkeling/diving, emits hot gas bubbles up through fissures – a unique underwater experience.

We return to the boat to enjoy dinner and sail to the nearby Gili Banta island.

Day 3 – Gili Banta

We will come back to the boat for a short sail towards Makassar Reef, better known as Manta Point, where you have an opportunity to swim with the graceful Manta rays. Makassar reef is a long shallow reef located between the island of Komodo and Tatawa Besar, where the current carries plankton-rich water, the perfect feast for the Mantas.

The rest of the day will be spent exploring the nearby area.

Welcome to the world-famous Komodo National Park!

Today we explore the northern side of the park near the islands of Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut. Home to some of the best dive sites of Indonesia, you will encounter trevally groupers, sweetlips, barracudas, and white tip reef sharks.

Before sunset, we hike to a ridge to enjoy a spectacular panorama from where we can admire the entire bay and its turquoise waters.

Day 4 – Gili Banta
Today we devote the date to exploring and relaxing at Gili Banta. Our crew will set our signature beach camp on a white and pink sand deserted beach where you will enjoy idyllic beach time and water activities. It is the perfect place to try water skiing or snorkel the nearby reef.

The day concludes with a beach dinner of grilled fish and other delicacies accompanied by a magnificent sunset.

Day 5 – Sangeang

The rest of the day will be spent exploring the island in search of hidden jungle waterfalls. Come back to the boat for another sunset aboard Aliikai Voyage facing Mt Rinjani on the nearby island of Lombok.

Day 7 – Saleh Bay – Satonda
After a short overnight sail, we wake up in Saleh bay, where whale sharks are often spotted. We will have an up close encounter with thegentle giants when we dive near fisherman’s platforms. It is a lifetime experience for children and those young at heart!

After this lifetime experience, we are sailing north towards Satonda Island.

Satonda island is an ancient volcano and has a salt water lake in the middle of the island where you can swim, kayaking or do some stand up paddle board.

Day 8 – Bima
After breakfast onboard, the crew will transfer you tothe airport for your onward flight.

As dusk sets, we will cruise to Pulau Kalong, where thousands of bats live in the mangrove during the day. As the sun goes down, you will hear the entire island coming to life before they all take the skies heading to Flores Island in search of fruits. A true nature spectacle.

After an overnight sail, we wake up near Satonda island, an ancient volcano that has a salt water lake in the middle of the island where you can swim, kayaking or do some stand up paddle board. Our crew can also take you on a hike on the ridge of the crater to get a panoramic view of Sumbawa and Mt Tambora towering this area.

Before lunch, Aliikai will depart for Saleh bay, this secluded bay in the middle of Sumbawa. We will spend the afternoon on a deserted island doing all sorts of water activities or simply relaxing on the beach. The day concludes with a beach dinner of grilled fish and other delicacies accompanied by a magnificent sunset.

Day 7 – Whalesharks – Moyo Island
Early this morning, we will have an up-close encounter with the gentle giants when we dive near fisherman’s platforms. It is a lifetime experience for children and those young at heart. After this lifetime experience, we are sailing north towards Moyo island.

The rest of the day will be spent exploring the island in search of hidden jungle waterfalls nestled in the middle of the island. Come back to the boat for your last sunset aboard Aliikai facing Mt Rinjani on the nearby island of Lombok.

After a short overnight sail, we wake up in Saleh bay, where whale sharks are often spotted. We will have an up-close encounter with the gentle giants when we dive near fisherman’s platforms. It is a lifetime experience for children and those young at heart!

After this lifetime experience, we are sailing north towards Satonda Island.

Satonda island is an ancient volcano and has a salt water lake in the middle of the island where you can swim, kayaking or do some stand up paddle board.

Day 4 – Sangeang
Today we awake to the view of the towering Sangeang volcano, located off the coast of Sumbawa. Today we explore the island where we will view local shipwrights’ handcraft traditional boats with simple tools and traditional techniques passed down through generations.

This afternoon you have the choice of hiking a rugged volcano or exploring one of the nearby reefs.

Hot Rock Reef, suitable for both snorkeling/diving, emits hot gas bubbles up through fissures – a unique underwater experience. We return to the boat to enjoy dinner and sail to Gili Banta.

Day 5 – Gili Banta
Today we devote the date to exploring and relaxing at Gili Banta. Our crew will set our signature beach camp on a white and pink sand deserted beach where you will enjoy idyllic beach time and water activities. It is the perfect place to try water skiing or snorkel the nearby reef.

The day concludes with a beach dinner of grilled fish and other delicacies accompanied by a magnificent sunset.

Day 6 – Gili Lawa Darat – Gili Lawa Laut
Welcome to the world-famous Komodo National Park! Today we explore the northern side of the park near the islands of Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut. Home to some of the best dive sites of Indonesia, you will encounter trevally groupers, sweetlips, barracudas, and white tip reef sharks.

Before sunset, we hike to a ridge to enjoy a spectacular panorama from where we can admire the entire bay and its turquoise waters.

Day 7 – Manta Point – Rinca
This morning we head out to Makassar Reeef, better known as Manta Point, where you have an opportunity to swim with the graceful Manta rays. Makassar reef is a long shallow reef located between the island of Komodo and Tatawa Besar, where the current carries plankton-rich water, the perfect feast for the Mantas.

After lunch, we sail to Rinca Island, where we will spend a few hours trekking the island in search of the legendary Komodo dragons. A local ranger will explain its unique role in the ecosystem and how it came to reside in this part of the world.

As dusk sets, we will cruise to Pulau Kalong, where thousands of bats live in the mangrove during the day. As the sun goes down, you will hear the entire island coming to life before they all take the skies heading to Flores Island in search of fruits. A true nature spectacle.

After breakfast onboard, the crew will transfer you tothe airport for your onward flight.

To begin, you will find yourself amidst the North Coast of Kofiau Island in a sheltered anchorage off the secluded village of Deer. This village is a small island separated from Kofiau by a clear channel. Don’t waste any time and explore the area! The turquoise crystal clear water around these islands is so clear you can see the bottom everywhere.

As the day drifts by, Aliikai Voyage will take you to the Boo Islands in the afternoon with our cruise ship. Boo Islands is a group of small islands with healthy and rich vegetation making it a true birdwatcher’s paradise. Parrots of stunning colors are the common variety of birds flying by but you might be lucky to spot seabirds, too. We will cruise overnight to Misool.

Day 7 – Salawati
To the northwest of New Guinea, Salawati is one of the least developed and visited areas in Raja Ampat. The island offers great snorkeling sites and is the island with the highest encounter rate of new species. The island offers various beaches to explore or have a beach bonfire toward sunset. Day 1 – Welcome To Spice Islands
You will be met by members of the Aliikai Voyage crew and transferred to Telehu port to embark on your 8-day voyage.

Upon arrival, you will have time to enjoy a welcome drink and meet the crew. After a short safety briefing, we will sail to Moana island for an afternoon of snorkeling, diving and relaxing beach time.

Day 2 – Run island – Nelaka Banda island
After a delicious breakfast on board, we head ashore to learn of the Spice Trade’s checkered past and how it influences our modern-day life. We will visit Rumah Besi, an old Dutch warehouse used to process the nutmeg before transport. Afterwards, we’ll have a respite from the sun as we walk through a nutmeg plantation towered by 600-year-old Kenari Palms.

For those who prefer to spend the day diving, please speak with our Cruise Director, who will arrange your activities throughout the cruise.

The remainder of the day is dedicated to exploring the beautiful underwater world between Neilaka and Run.

Day 3 – Ai Island
This morning we will visit the historical sights of Banda Neira, including Fort Belgica, which carefully watched over Banda Neira until being surrendered to the British.We will continue onto the colonial buildings, including the Dutch Reform Church and Museum.

We will return to Aliikai Voyage for lunch on board and time to relax.

This afternoon you’ll have time to dive and snorkel surrounding Ai Island.

Later this evening, relax and enjoy on the upper deck for a movie under stars.

Day 4 – Banda Besar
This morning the boat will sail to Banda Besar while you enjoy breakfast.Afterwards, we will visit Fort Hollandia, initially constructed in 1674; it played a critical role in the Spice Trade and routes. We continue to see modern-day nutmeg harvesting and the opportunity to meet the local inhabitants on the island.

Lunch will be served on board.

The afternoon dive and snorkel will visit Batu Hangus North of Gunung Api.

This evening relax with your favourite beverage or select a movie to enjoy in our cinema under the stars. – popcorn included.

Day 5 – Hatta – Sahil Island
Today enjoy a full day of watersports and relaxation. We’ll visit dive snorkel sights around Hatta and Sahil Islands.

Our crew will arrange the Aliikai Voyage beach set up, including beach loungers, umbrellas, towels and beverages. Kayaks and stand up paddleboards will also be available.

Day 6 – Suanggi Island
This morning we’ll have another opportunity to dive and snorkel Pulau Suanggi, where schools of snappers, Bluefin Trevally, and white tip reef sharks. Snorkelers will enjoy the island’s fringed reef and its colourful marine life.

Later this afternoon, we will sail to Nusa Laut.

Day 7 – Nusa Laut – Saparua
This morning we’ll visit the dive sights around Nusa Laut, known for its breathtaking hard corals and vibrant marine life.

Late afternoon, if time allows, we will head ashore to visit Duurstede Fort, a key point in the clove trade, then sailback to Tulehu Port.

Tonight, we join together for our dinner on board to share memories of your voyage and create new ones.

Day 8 – Disembark in Tulehu Port
After breakfast, we bid farewell to a memorable voyage as the crew transfers you to the airport for your onward flight.

Ambon to Sorong

Day 1 – Tulehu Bay – Molana
You will be met by members of the Aliikai Voyage crew and transferred to Telehu port to embark on your 12-day voyage. Upon arrival, you will have time to enjoy a welcome drink and meet the crew. After a short safety briefing, we will sail to Moana island for an afternoon of snorkeling, diving and relaxing beach time.

Day 2 – Saparua – Nusa Laut
This morning we will visit the dive sights around Nusa Laut, known for its breathtaking hard corals and vibrant marine life. Late afternoon, we will head ashore to visit Duurstede Fort, a key point in the clove trade.

Day 3 – Suanggi – Banda Neira
This morning we will have another opportunity to dive and snorkel Pulau Suanggi, where schools of snappers, Bluefin Trevally, and white tip reef sharks. Snorkelers will enjoy the island’s fringed reef and its colourful marine life. In the afternoon, Banda Neira will arrive in sight. We will head ashore for a visit of the island and be greeted by friendly locals. Welcome in the spice islands that used to be the center of the world.

Day 4 – Run Islands – Neilaka – Ai
After a delicious breakfast on board, we head ashore to learn of the Spice Trade’s checkered past and how it influences our modern-day life. We will visit Rumah Besi, an old Dutch warehouse used to process the nutmeg before transport. Afterwards, we’ll have a respite from the sun as we walk through a nutmeg plantation towered by 600-year-old Kenari Palms.

For those who prefer to spend the day diving, please speak with our Cruise Director, who will arrange your activities throughout the cruise. The remainder of the day is dedicated to exploring the beautiful underwater world between Neilaka and Run. Return to Aliikai Voyage for an alfresco dinner under the stars.

Day 5 – Banda Besar
This morning the boat will sail to Banda Besar while you enjoy the breakfast. Afterwards, we will visit Fort Hollandia, initially constructed in 1674, it played a critical role in the Spice Trade and routes. We continue to see modern-day nutmeg harvesting and the opportunity to meet the local inhabitants on the island. Lunch will be served onboard.

The afternoon dive and snorkel will visit Batu Hangus North of Gunung Api. This evening relax with your favorite beverage or select a movie to enjoy in our cinema under the stars. – popcorn included.

Day 6 – Hatta – Sahil Islands
Today enjoy a full day of watersports and relaxation. We’ll visit dive snorkel sights around Hatta and Sahil Islands. Our crew will arrange the Aliikai Voyage beach set up, including beach loungers, umbrellas, towels and beverages. Kayaks and stand up paddleboards will also be available.

End of the afternoon, we’ll start heading east towards the tiny islet of Koon.

Day 7 – Koon
Today, we’ll arrive at the tiny island of Koon, to the east of Seram, which is a veritable aquarium for underwater aficionados. Coconut palms dot the island, which is encircled by a blindingly white beach melting into turquoise seas. The coral reef fringing the island is well protected and acts as a haven for fish. In the middle of the afternoon, we’ll start heading east towards Raja Ampat and Misool area for an overnight crossing.

Day 8 – Day 11 – Misool
This morning, the yacht will reach the southeast end of Misool. You’ll awake to a shimmering pastel sunrise and enjoy a decadent breakfast on deck, with tea and coffee served by your crew. This chain of tiny islands carves the area into hundreds of narrow channels concealing lagoons, coves, cliffs and limestone overhang, caves and endless pristine beaches. Here in Raja Ampat’s southernmost island, you’ll spend four days exploring Misool’s treasures. The surrounding dive and snorkel sites have been voted some of the best in the world: Boo Windows, Magic Mountain and more, a myriad of exhilarating and relaxing underwater pursuits. Above water, you’ll explore the ethereal “Gua Sacral” ancestral caves of Tomolol, a former burial site of indigenous Papuans. Swim through a cathedral-like cave coated in orchids and discover ancient cave paintings edging the crystal blue surface. There’s a pearl farm nearby where you can see how the local’s forge a living in these remote parts. Powder sand beaches await your footprints, and you can claim one as your own for as long as you like, hunting for shells or picnicking in the shallows. End of the afternoon, Aliikai Voyage will start sailing to Sorong.

Day 12 – Sorong
After a final decadent breakfast on deck, our crew will assist you in disembarking Aliikai and transfer you back to the airport to catch your flight home.

Day 7 – Run – Nailakka
Head ashore to Ai Island, where the ruins of Fort Revenge can still be seen deep in the jungle. We will also cruise to Run Island – the first British overseas colony. This tiny piece of land was once the subject of a long and bloody conflict between European colonial powers, and was transferred to the Dutch in exchange for New York! We will explore the island to see the forgotten ruins of old forts, enjoying picnic lunches and exploring the coral wall.

Day 8 – Banda Besar
This morning, head to Banda Besar to see the historical nutmeg plantations – once the most expensive spice in the world. Walk past ancient almond trees and take the opportunity to see how the locals make a living, while observing various species of endemic birds. After lunch, you can do one or two wonderful dives at Batu Kapal, and later visit a small village on Pisang Island, which is surrounded by the pristine beaches and beautiful reef.

Day 9 – Gunung Api
We invite the fit and ambitious to make an early morning ascent of Banda’s Gunung Api volcano. This is perhaps the most famous of the Banda Sea ‘Ring of Fire’ volcanos. First recorded in the 14th century, it last erupted in 1988. While this is a challenging climb up a narrow track to an elevation of about 640 metres, the reward when reaching the top of the ‘Fire Mountain’ is well worth the effort and you can revel in a stunning and unforgettable view.

Day 10 – Banda Neira
Early in the morning, the Banda Islands will emerge on the horizon. This morning you can dive at “Bird Rock” at Suanggi Island, and on arrival at Banda Neira, you can head ashore to the historical town. Every building here could be a museum – there are cannons in the front of colonial houses and 17th century inscriptions on the walls. You’ll visit the impressive Fort Belgica, an old church and a former governor’s palace, a jail and local museum.

Day 11 – Saparua – Mamala
Saparua is the largest island in the Lease chain to the east of Ambon. This morning you may head ashore to explore the small town of Saparua and visit the Duurstede Fort, built by the Portugese in 1676. While you enjoy lunch back onboard, the yacht will sail to Mamala Island, where you can explore underwater sites on the eastern coast, which offers some striking walls with overhangs, inhabited by an array of macro marine life.

Day 12 – Ambon
After a final decadent breakfast on deck, our crew will assist you in disembarking Aliikai and transfer you back to the airport to catch your flight home.

Sorong to Kaimana

Day 1 – Sorong

Day 2 – Kri Peninsula – Dampier Strait
This morning, you’ll awake to the calls of tropical birds as they, too, are preparing for their day. Mioskon Bay is a spectacular spot where you can snorkel in the mangroves or kayak on mirrored waters along the verdant coastline. Famed for its fish life and coral slopes, the Kri peninsula offers some of the most exquisite underwater vistas in Raja Ampat. Nearby, the island of Mansuar is home to a village where you can head ashore for a glimpse of local culture.

Day 3 – Penemu Island
Today we explore the beautiful Penemu Islands – a cluster of rocky limestone domes draped in lush vegetation. These islets encircle a shallow bay and a walking trail that winds around the rocky hills to a lookout offering a panoramic view of the outlying islands and the ocean beyond. Nearby lies some of the most outstanding snorkeling and diving sites in the area. These nutrient-rich waters are home to a wide array of marine life and intricate coral gardens, including sea turtles, manta rays, and large schools of game fish.

Day 4 – Farondi
In the morning visit to the cave of Tamulol a large cave where we can snorkel. Easy for all ages. Nearby, we will attempt to look into the jelly fish lake, as this is very dependable on the village mood.In the afternoon activities as snorkeling diving, paddle …,can also sunset lagoon tour on the tender boats.

Day 5 – Boo – Fiabacet
Half day activities , and we start the sailing to Pulau Pisang.This amazing string of small islands has a colourful array of great dives sites. The signature sites in the area include Boo Windows, Nudi Rock, Tank Rock and Whale Rock. The whole place is a delight for the eyes.

Day 6 – Pulau Pisang
Half day activities , and we start the sailing to Momon.A chain of islands between Raja Ampat and Triton Bay has some excellent diving The dive site called the Dome is a seamount in the channel with good fish action; bannerfish, snappers and batfish as well as a chance to hunt for macro. There hammerhead-shaped reef is called T-Bone and the site is covered in large colourful sponges in yellow and purple and blue. Keep your eyes open for passing sharks and eagle rays.

Day 7 – Momon
Half day activities , and we start the sailing to Triton bay.There is an excellent macro dive at Tanjung Wap with decorated dartfish in shallow water, a potential for pygmy seahorses and a large swim through to explore. The seamount west of Momon has accelerating diving, schooling fish and chances for mantas.Visit to the waterfall at Momon. Speedboats tour into the shore where the water falls directly into the sea. you can even swim behind the falls

Day 8 – Day 11 – Triton Bay Aiduma – Namatote – Dramai – Mai
The unique location of Triton Bay with its current rich straits has many beautiful dive sites located around the islands of Aiduma and Namatote. Triton Bay is famous for its kaleidescope of colours along the reef at Signature sites like Little Komodo.

There is the opportunity to see endemic species like the Flasher Wrasse at Flasher Beach or Leopard Anemone Shrimp at Namatote Wall or a Thin Line Wobbegong hiding under a table coral. Also recently discovered in the area are some interesting locations for macro sites with exciting and unusual nudibranchs. There may be a chance to encounter whale sharks while in the area.

Dive and Snorkelling at the Bagan(fishing pateform) (if there’s Whale Shark) (day 9 & 10) On that day we will visit a small village called Mei Mei off the island of Namatote where there are fishing platforms called Bagans. The fishermen here have created an amazing relationship with the whale shark.

Day 12 – Guest Departure
Today we explore the natural beauty of Batanta Island, the smallest of the 4 major islands of Raja Ampat. After breakfast, we embark on an island trek to the northern coast to cool off at two jungle waterfalls. The trek takes us along riverbeds, where we have the chance to spot endemic birds and wildlife.

After lunch, we head to Dayang Island, where we dedicate the afternoon to relaxation and water activities. Enjoy our last Raja Ampat sunset surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest. In the afternoon, Aliikai Voyage embarks on a crossing to Sorong where we will arrive in the night.

  • The reservation will secure after pay down payment 50%.
  • The reservation will be confirmed upon reception of a 50% deposit to be paid no later than 3 days after the initial booking is made. We reserve the rights to offer the available to other guests in case the deposit has not been received within the above stated period of time.
  • The balance must be settled 90 days before the trip.
  • If in emergency / forced / not resolved due to natural conditions, riot, and other bad weather, the itinerary can be changed for passenger’s safety.
  • 90 days or more prior departure : Full refund minus a USD 100 Administration Fee
  • 89 days – 0 day of departure : No Refund
  • Cancellation due to force majeure (natural disaster, bad weather, riots, disease outbreaks, government regulations etc) trip can be reschedule and no refund.
  • Participants who arrive late at the meeting point so they interferes their travel time are considered to resigned and there will be no refunds.
  • We are not responsible and cannot be prosecuted for flight schedules, damage / loss baggage damage by passengers on flights, hotels or other transportation. We are not responsible for damage/loss of participant’s items during the trip.
  • Participants are responsible if there is loss / damage to the trip facilities lent to participants and replaced with the right price.
  • Participants must obey the tour leader/dive leader during the trip and cannot make unilateral decisions of any kind without consent from the tour leader/dive leader.
  • If there are participants who bring illegal drugs or make a riot so that it makes other participants uncomfortable during the trip, then the tour has the right to issue / repatriate the participant without any refunds that have been paid.
  • The cost of renting or booking a room on a ship does not include accident or death insurance. We recommend that you purchase travel or diving insurance privately.
  • If an accident, injury or death occurs, you cannot claim anything from us or the ship’s crew, but we will resolve it amicably.
